Sussex Creatives is a group of artists and makers formerly known as HAN. We became Sussex Creatives to be more inclusive to a wider network. We hold regular meetings and aim to share knowledge and practice in order to support each others expertise and development. We also endeavour to invite outside speakers where we can, and hope to expand this from the benefit of attracting artists from a wider range. While we have an elected chairperson and a committee, we endeavour to run our group democratically for the benefit of all, and the opinion of our members is always taken into consideration.

We already enjoy having an extremely diverse and talented group of members, and would like to expand this to include a wider field in Sussex.

Our last main public event was our Artists and Makers Exhibition & Sale on 26th and 27th July at the Old Chapel Centre in Alfriston, which returns in 2026, but please check out our Events page which has our full 2025-26 programme.
